The boy has covid. He caught it at school and his three of his friends have it too. He's getting better - bright enough but then feels wiped out. I thought I had started symptoms last night. Feeling very raspy and a stinging feeling in my throat - but the test was still negative this morning.

I did do a lot of hard physical work yesterday and I'm trying to keep on top of things in case I do succumb, so maybe just tired. The gravelly voice is still here this morning though.

In other news, the fruit is beginning to ripen in the polycrub and I ate two homegrown strawberries on Sunday. The earliest yet.
