I did go swimming this morning, and it was amazing. The sun came out - the water was perfect. I ended my swim without the wetsuit and came out aglow. There are more photos on Instagram if you feel so inclined.

its a beautiful, understated beach this one. There is a freshwater loch along behind it, with a nice raised walkway between them. I took the dog for a stretch along here afterwards. A perfect morning.

it was lunchtime when I got back, so I made our favourite avocado toast and poached eggs. I decided to continue the self-care theme in the afternoon and had a long shower, then a face mask. I’m feeling pretty chilled now - its been a while since I’ve done something like this.

Good Thai curry for dinner, wee glass of chianti, and watched a bit of Strictly. The boy is now watching UFC, while I’m knitting and peeping at the screen occasionally.

Heading off to bed shortly, I think I’ll finish my book tonight. Clocks go back, so an extra hour tomorrow.
